Can you add an outlet where there isn’t one?
In most cases, yes. The nearest circuit, wall access and cable route are reviewed first so the new outlet is placed safely and cleanly.
What should I do if an outlet feels warm?
Stop using it and call. A warm outlet can mean a loose connection or an overloaded circuit, and it should be checked before it is used again.
